He received a board order form from us and then spent some hours drawing the perfect design. According to his wishes (size, weight, surf level, and dimensions) our experienced shapers manufactured Lukas HIS new surfboard.
He could hardly wait to rock amazing Bali waves with it… But then, the days came and Lukas surfed his new board…

And, are you jealous?!?… Let us know and our experienced shapers and Kima will try to make your wish come true…

Last Friday the exciting trip to the biggest and still active volcano in Bali started. The surf guide Thomas from the Seminyak Camp, his girlfriend Becci, the intern from the Kima office Meike and the Camp guest Marius were picked up at 11.30PM and arrived at the volcano at around 1.45AM.
The adventure could start. Two volcano guides climbed with them to the top of Gunung Agung (3.100m high). With torches they literally CLIMBED up the volcano. After 3.5 hours they reached the top and celebrated the wonderful sunrise with a Bintang =)

The shadow of Gunung Agung.
Marius enjoyed the view…

Marius and Meike were mentally preparing themselves for the way down…

They still had to overcome the difficult part, namely the way down! Some of them finally used a stick because their legs started to be weak.
Thomas on the way down… Balancing on the rocks… Scaryyyy =)

AND finally they saw this temple where they started their climbing trip! YEESSSSS…

The following days they still had a nice remembrance of the trip – the sunrise and their sore muscles in their legs =)
It was worth the struggle though… Now it’s up to you to start the amazing adventure and climb the biggest volcano of Bali…

On Saturday, the 177.Oktoberfest will be inaugurated. And what are you going to wear for this momentous occasion?!? A traditional costume, a good-looking dirndl dress or handsome leather trousers?!
You can even wear traditional costumes on the Eisbach River. As you can see on the pictures everybody is happy… why??? …
…Not only because of the coming Oktoberfest, but also due to the publication of the documentary “Keep Surfing”.

It is a true story of surf culture at the Eisbach River in Munich, Germany, the world river surfing capital. The documentary shows the happiness of surfers because the wave on which they dance is not far outside in the ocean, but in the center of Munich. “Keep Surfing” will be published on DVD and Blu-Ray on 30th of September by PROKINO.

Director Björn Richie Lob managed to capture breathtaking pictures of surfers. With all his talent, he was even able to draw secrets from the film’s protagonists. Lob is one of the river surfers who worked as a director and cameraman at the same time during those five years of production time, and who already inspired the public when the film was inaugurated in the cinema.

This film will make you want to hit the waves!
What can we say more …
PROST !!!
