KIMA Surf and CSC clean the Beach

Yesterday afternoon a beach cleaning event organized by the CSC (Canggu Surf Community) took place for the first time in Echo Beach. Around 30 voluntary helper from the CSC and KIMA Bali Surfari braved the rainy weather and gathered up the garbage in Canggu Beach. This is not supposed to be an one-time action, but the beach will be cleaned once a month from now on…

All these “idyllic” plastic bags and all imaginable other waste was taken away from the beach!
Happy volunteers doing a good job.
This is what beach preservation looks like.
Ari is setting a good example by picking up even the smallest pieces of everything that is not supposed to stay at the beach!
After about an hour of conscientious work, Canggu beach is now free of soiling stuff. And so that the beach stays clean, this campaign will be continued for sure

Campparty Seminyak – Motto “B”

Once again our legendary monthly campparty took place in Seminyak about two weeks ago. This means that the guests from Canggu and Balangan were brought to our base camp to meet new people, joining the (drinking) games, just having a good time and of course to drink Bintang and punch. And sure, to dress up as whatever starts with a “B”. Here some of the most impressing pics of that night as well as some creative costumes. As the censoring of the photos took quite a long time, it was not possible to publish a little selection of them before.
Everyone is chatting while waiting for the games to begin…
Game N° 1 – fulfilling the tasks that are written on little papers put into a bunch of baloons. The precarious part of the game lies in the fact that you’ll never know what will be written on the tiny paper that is picked.
Maybe you have to drink a bottle of Bintag through a funnel – like our Bikini-Boy hast to do it…
… or you have to blow up two condoms at one time, what is observed accurately by our Bali Lifeguard Joko… Probably you can imagine what this whole game looked like…
When all balloons were broken it was time for game N° 2, that Baby Ari is explaining in a very enthusiastic way… “Listen guys, this is a kind of musical chairs – just that you’ll have to find an object we define and while you are looking for it, we’ll take away a pillow…”
Okay, the object that should be brought back to the circle was a small stone… After some Bintang it was probably no more possible to distinguish small from big
Batman Putu got his jollies while watching the whole hustle and bustle.
Meanwhile Conny was turning into some weird exemplar of a Beast, as she had to give her costume – a Birthday girl party head to our real Birthday girl…
… Roxy, the Birthday girl shows herself unimpressed by Connys transformation and seems just happy.
Bibi Blocksberg Bianca by contrast is trying to get away on her witches’ broom Kartoffelbrei…
Baby Reef Franzi seems to chill quite well despite of it all. A baby-soother combined with a cigarette should definetly speak for itself.
Some of our guests were working on their costumes during the whole night. Especially “Bussi/ Beso/ Bisou” (or whatever expression for kiss beginning with a “B”) Adrian begged everyone for help to dress up.
Ladyboy “Bruno” Lars sniffed his chance in this…
… and completed the costume on places that were not supposed to get kissed…
With the passing of the evening, everyones costumes had to suffer… Baby Roland started to lose his diapers – maybe the outcome of too many drinks?!
A propos drinks… Guide “Bintang” Chris actually came dressed up as the most famous liquid that night…
