Ari and Roland from Kima Surfaris take you on a 5 star Explorer Boat Trip. You will discover remote bays, beautiful islands, and world class waves between Bali and Sumbawa (Lakey Peak).

Spend 11 days on our luxurious Phinisi „MatahariKu“ („My Sun“) and discover an impressive part of the world’s largest archipelago, Indonesia.

The variety of seldomly surfed waves will get every surfer excitement. Endless waves with a lot of face, some tuberides are waiting too.

THE BOAT

The boat’s design with three spacious decks, 5 airconditioned luxury cabines with ensuite bathrooms, a comfortable lounge with kitchen and plasma TV, are arranged in a classic Indonesian style whilst maintaining the highest standards of comfort.

The MatahariKu’s sundeck is the perfect place to relax or spend the night with the moon and stars in sight.

You are wondering what to do after surfing or between your sessions? No worries: simply relax with a good book on one of the spacious decks, or go for a snorkel now and again, or how about some fishing or harpooning? If you have had enough of nature, you can watch a DVD, or listen to some music in the lounge.

As far as safety is concerned, the boat really is up to the state of the art with all necessary safety and navigation techniques, life jackets, dinghy, GPS, radio, compasses, charts etc.

THE ROUTE

The trip can start in Bali or Sumbawa. We will be happy to assist you booking a domestic Indonesian flight.

We do not describe our route in detail here in order to keep the numerous secret spots secret. We can tell you though that we head to Lembongan Island, Lomboks Southern coast, South Sumbawa up to Lakey Peak.

Along these 220 nautical miles there are more than 20 rather well known surf spots and probably dozens more that no soul has ever surfed. Those spots we will explore with YOU!!!!

BOARD

A choice of fresh and ever varied food on the menu leaves nothing to be desired.

Breakfast gets you off to a good start with toast and various spreads or pancakes, omelettes, bacon and eggs, cold meats and cheese – something different every day.

The main meals are a mix of Western and Indo food with something to suit every taste, e.g. fresh fish and veggies, spaghetti, gado-gado, nasi goreng, soto ayam and sate, or simply sashimi from fish just off the hook.

Throughout the day we serve various snacks and fresh fruits. Coffee, tea and all soft drinks are inclusive.
